Text On Screen

  • The scene starts off with a conference meeting with Scotland's detect D.I. Greg Lestrade who is giving a presentation to a group of detectives then there is a text on the screen that pops up. This adds to the overall suspense that Sherlock Holmes is already running on the case and starts thinking and analyzing the situation to find the killer. This subtle act of the text popping up on the screen engages the audience and makes it more real to start the series

Mental Fortress

  • Sherlock in most of the scenes of the series has a mind construct that he uses to store and organize information as fast as he can. The scene with cinematography and a beautiful way of representing the information by showing the photo or visuals and aspects of the thing that Sherlock is imagining gives it a dreamlike quality of the scene. It's as if his mind is in a different state casually thinking about the possibilities of taking a action and the best outcome of these choices.
